If a team needs to train please use green area beside basketball courts or any area other than the pitch in St Vincents School.
Note: All challenge games must be approved by/notified to the relevant county board for insurance purposes. The onus is on the team manager to ensure this is done for every challenge game. This applies to away games also.
· Just to update mentors what the procedure is when the weather is bad during the week/weekend.
· A pitch inspection will be carried out at 4pm on Friday to decide the condition of the pitches for Saturday matches. If the pitch committee decides that pitches are unplayable on Friday at 4pm website will be updated. This is to allow away team time to arrange a home pitch for the Saturday game if their pitch is playable.
· If pitches are declared playable on Friday and it pours rain Friday night Saturday morning, as regards the nursery and Go-Games this is a call made at a local level. At older age groups the call is made by the ref at the time of the throw in (both teams and ref arrive at pitch and ref declares pitch playable/unplayable)
· The same set of guidelines applies for games on Sunday. Inspection on Saturday at 4pm, website updated and if it goes to the Sunday the ref makes the call.
