PAY CLUB MEMBERSHIP SUBS HERE

The club subscriptions process went entirely digital in 2019 to make it easier for members, to become more environmentally friendly by eliminating paper-based membership forms, and to reduce the volunteer-led administrative workload.

Payment is via Debit / Credit Card or Apple Pay. Cash & cheques are no longer accepted.

You can also pay your subs through the ClubZap app.

What has changed with Nursery membership?

Available to those born after the 1/1/2017, each nursery membership now includes an accompanying Adult (Parent, Grandparent, Guardian etc.) who can be registered at no additional charge and automatically becomes a full non-playing member of Na Fianna.

Why have the 2024 Nursery membership fees increased?

The Nursery membership fees have remained unchanged since 2018. In that time, the size of the nursery has increased and so have the running costs. Our club was significantly underselling itself versus peer GAA Clubs around Dublin and against competing sporting codes. As a club, we invest heavily in ensuring our nursery members have access to the best coaching, equipment and facilities. The increased fee for a child in Nursery now includes registration of an accompanying Adult (Parent / Grandparent / Guardian etc) at no additional cost and if that Adult gets involved in a broader context e.g. Coaching / Mentoring, they can also receive a €20 club card credit which can be redeemed in the club bar*. It is also vital that all parents who help out at the Nursery are club members as we have collective statutory child safety and welfare obligations as a club.

* For mentors/coaches the application of card credit is subject to completion of Coaching Level 1, garda vetting and child safe-guarding courses and approval from the Club Exec.  For other volunteers the application of card credit is subject to recommendation from the relevant working group / committee chair and approval from the Club Exec.

My child is older and I pay a Juvenile membership, do I need to join as a parent?

This is not mandatory, the minimum we ask for is for you to provide parent/guardian contact details. However, the club is only as strong as the sum of its parts so we would encourage all parents/guardians to join or retain membership as part of our vibrant local community. Our hope is that by having parent/guardians members join with Nursery members that they will remain as Na Fianna members when their children from Nursery graduate into the Juvenile ranks.

So if I as a parent/guardian join what other benefits do I get as an Adult Member?

Where does my membership subscription go?

The Annual Membership Subscription is used to contribute towards a wide range of services and activities on and off the field. Player Subscriptions on their own do not cover the full operational costs. We rely on non-playing Members, Commercial Income, Fundraisers and Sponsorship to make up the difference.

Is there any way to spread the costs of membership Fees?

Membership payments for new and renewing members can, initially, be made in five equal monthly instalments (at no extra charge); In December 2023 the number of permitted instalments for renewing and new members will reduce to 4. Further reductions in instalments for new and renewing members will occur in January and February. From March 2024 onwards, payment must be made in full.

Note: Members should not consider themselves registered with the relevant associations (GAA, LGFA, Camogie, Rounders, Handball Associations), or insured under player injury schemes, until 10 days after membership has been paid.
