The Club was deeply saddened last week at the sudden death following a short illness of our friend and colleague Billy Fenlon. Billy was an intrinsic part of the management team which delivered no less than six ‘A’ hurling championships in recent years, U-15 (2012), U-16 (2013), Minor (2014, 2015, 2016) and U-21 (2016). To his wife Celine, their daughter Hannah and their two sons Robert and Hugh, the Club extends its deepest sympathy. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam. Wins for Minor A and C football teams and hard luck to B’s. Congrats to Senior 1 Camogie team on Leinster League win against Piltown and to Senior 7’s in Spring Cup, hard luck to Senior 3’s. Congrats to Orla Gray, Niamh Gleeson, Niamh Rock and Dublin’s Minor Camogie team on their win against Tipperary. Congrats also to Dublin’s Premier Juniors including Roisin Baker and Grainne Free on their win against Clare and hard luck to Dublin’s Seniors including Eve O’Brien, Arlene Cushen and Zoe O’Donoghue against Kilkenny. Hard luck also to Shane Barrett, Donal Burke and Dublin’s Senior hurlers losing out to Clare. Big Racenight fundraiser in the Club this Thursday night.
