Minor 2 ladies Footballers through to Division 4 Championship final beating Brigids in a closely-fought semi final on Saturday. Minor 3 Ladies Footballers already through to Division 6 final and Minor 1’s through to Division 1 semi final following their win on Saturday. Congrats to our three U-16 Ladies Football teams on Championship semi-final wins on Sunday. A dominant display by our Under 16A’s in Division 1 semi final beating Ballyboden 5-9 to 0-9. First ever time for Na Fianna to reach U-16 Division 1 final. Credit also to our U-16B’s on reaching Division 5 Championship final and also U-16C’s on reaching Division 5 Shield final. Hard luck to both Junior Hurling teams and to Minor footballers in Championship on Sunday.

Next Saturday at 4.30pm, our Senior Footballers away against Plunketts in league and our AFL5’s play Clontarf in League final in Mobhi Road. Sunday at 10.30 sees our Senior Camogie team in Championship semis away to St Vincents and Minor A Hurlers host Kilmacud in Championship in Mobhi Road. Later at 12 noon our Minor B hurlers host Western Gaels in Mobhi Road. Also on Sunday our AFL8 team play Castleknock in Championship semi final in Somerton at 3pm. Membership crew operating from Fáilte Hub, next to coffee cabin 9.30-11.30 at Saturday’s Nursery to collect completed membership forms, take debit/credit card payments and answer any queries.

Draíocht Players make their annual visit to Mobhi Road on Saturday 20th October at 8pm when they will present Sean O’Casey’s The Plough and The Stars in Scoil Chaitríona. Tickets for this Na Fianna fundraiser cost just €10 and can be bought from Ann Ryan or from club office, please support.

Minor C ladies footballers will hold a cake sale fundraiser at next Saturday’s Nursery, 13th October, support appreciated.

Open Meeting for all members to discuss Irish language and cultural activities in the club – Wednesday 17th October 8-9.30pm . Crinniú oscailte maidir le cúrsaí Gaeilge agus cultúr sa chlub, fáilte roimh chách – Céadaoin 17ú Deireadh Fómhair 8-9.30pm.
