Na Fianna recovering from the havoc caused last weekend by Storm Emma. The club was completely closed down with all games and training cancelled. In addition, the inclement weather forced the cancellation of Thursday night’s Draíocht Players visit with their production of The Plough and The Stars and Friday night’s Na Fianna Connects event. Adult hurling scheduled for next Sunday with Seniors playing Lucan in Mobhi Road and Inters against St Marks in Collinstown, both at 10.15am. Junior A’s play Cuala at 12 and B’s play Scoil Uí Chonaill at 2.30pm, both in Collinstown. Adult Cup Camogie on Sunday at 11am away against Naomh Barróg. All three Minor football teams play at home on Sunday. A’s play Lucan in Mobhi Road at 12 and earlier at 11am B’s play Clontarf and C’s play Raheny, both in Collinstown. Best of luck to all teams, support welcome. Na Fianna Sports Forum in the Helix DCU next Friday 9th March. Serious panel of sports stars including Jonny Cooper, Kenny Cunningham, Shane Horgan, Anna Geary and Kieran McGeeney with special guest Úachtarán Cumann Lúthchleas Gael John Horan. Raffle on the night for terrific prizes, tickets at €25 each still on sale from the Helix and club bar but moving fast, get yours before they’re gone.
