Na Fianna Club Notes – Notaí Chlub na seachtaine
23 October 2018 – 23ú Deireadh Fómhair 2018
Heartbreak for our Senior Camogie team in last Sunday’s Div 1 Senior Championship final. Our girls gave everything, even bringing the game to extra time but unfortunately it wasn’t to be. Huge thanks to the girls, the management team and the large Na Fianna crowd who turned up to support. Good crowd back in the club afterwards and thanks to Gretta Gray for her words of wisdom. Congrats to St Judes. Elsewhere, congrats to our Senior 6 Camogie team on Sunday’s Shield Final win and to our Minor A footballers on a fine win and AFL8’s on Friday night. Hard luck to Junior B hurlers in Championship semis and to Minor B footballers in quarters, Minor C ladies in final and U16 ladies footballers.
U-21 Hurling Championship starts this Saturday at 2.30pm with A’s against Cuala and B’s against Castleknock, both away. Adult football on Saturday at 4.30pm with Seniors against Castleknock and Senior2’s against Fingallians. Minor B hurlers in Championship semis away against Lucan on Sunday at 11 and at 2pm AFL8’s play St Peregrines in Mobhi Road.
