Thar ceann an chlub agus an phobail uilig, ba mhaith liom mo bhuíochas a ghabháil do gach duine a tháinig go dtí an Helix arú inné.
Over 1600 people attended the Metrolink public consultation event on Monday. Our Na Fianna colours were a constant presence and the conduct of our members was exemplary. It is a matter of great pride and reassurance that we appeared together in such large numbers on this issue.
Following a constructive initial meeting with the National Transport Authority yesterday, I can reaffirm that it’s crucial that all our members continue engaging with the public consultation process on MetroLink.
The level of our engagement as a community will continue to be a key influence in determining how this matter progresses.
Our time to comment is short as the consultation period ends May 11th.
The most important task for us now is to follow up with two important actions
- Submit an observation to firstname.lastname@example.org – detail your comments and if you are agreeable please cc it to email@example.com
- Contact you public representatives, TD’s and Councillors to voice your concerns and ask them to relay your concerns to the Minister for Transport.
The sustainable future of our Gaelic community will be shaped by our engagement during this short window, so let’s keep the momentum going.
