Hard luck to our Senior footballers losing out by 2 points against St Vincents in Saturday evening’s Senior Championship tie in Parnell Park. Senior 2’s had a draw against St Judes in their Championship fixture also on Saturday. Mixed bag of results from Sunday’s Junior football Championship Round 2 games with a good win for our A’s against Balinteer while our AFL8’s lost out by 2 points away against Clontarf and hard luck to J10’s away against Round Towers Lusk. Minor A hurlers had a good win against Raheny while B’s lost out to Cu Chulainn. Best wishes for speedy recoveries following injury over the weekend to Gavin King (Senior 2 footballers) and John McKenna (Minor A hurlers). Brave performances from both Féile Camogie teams last Saturday. Sincere thanks to players, mentors, parents and to all who supported over the weekend. Congratulations to Na Fianna’s Chanice Dolan, Ellie McAleer & Karen O’Connell and the Dublin ladies Minor footballers that defeated Meath in Sunday’s Leinster final.
Adult Camogie Tuesday night sees Senior1’s away against Lucan, Senior7’s host St Vincents in Mobhi Road and Senior8’s have Kilcoole on back pitch and on Thursday Senior 3’s host Lucan in Mobhi Road, all at 7.30pm. On Wednesday at 7pm our Inter hurlers host Faughs in Championship in Mobhi Road. Ladies football at 7.30pm with Seniors away against Kilmacud and Division 4 team have Portobello in Collinstown. Junir Hurling Championship on Thursday at 7pm with A’s away against Parenlls and B’s against Whitehall in Collinstown. Senior and Inter hurlers both play Cuala away on Saturday at 6pm and both Junior teams play away in league on Sunday, A’s against Realt Dearg and B’s play Balbriggan. Senior1 Camogie team host Balinteer in Mobhi Road at 11. Football Féile next weekend. Best of luck to all teams, see website for full fixture list,all support welcome.
